Phew..been a while since my last post..but I have good reason. I was on vacation in NYC, and a long one at that! We went on my first "real" long vacation - 10 days in the Big Apple! Just counting the 'firsts' on this trip for me begs for another longer post, but here are the highlights of the Firsts:
  • First long vacation!
  • First airport visit (yay!)
  • First Flight Experience
  • First Hotel Stay (multiple hotels)
  • First "LapSleep" in flight
  • First Double bed in room exclusively for me!!
  • First time visiting multiple restaurants every day of the week (tiring!)
  • List can go on...
Getting to the airport and in the flight was easy - I hopped on to the flight thankfully for my parents, I was in slumber 30 mins into the flight! It was pretty cozy with the motion and having a seat to myself. We got to NYC at night and something about the city - I started laughing upon landing.

The entire trip was great - except a few things that were lost. I liked the ferry ride to Statue of Liberty and seeing the lively streets in Times Square (there are sooo many people there!). Battery Park was great...but highlight was going with Mom to Central Park and the Bow Bridge and just chilling there! (unfortunately a lost camera is responsible for lost memories :( Walking the streets of New York in my throne (stroller), it was great seeing the lights and the luxurious(!?) subway rides. I did get tired by end of the day and just wanted to snuggle back in bed. I do love that city because I got to wake up at noon (thanks to jetlag that I remained in SF timing), and was up till late at night. But the entire city was awake - love that city!  We met with a lot of parents' friends, dined and enjoyed with them. I really liked spending time with Anvay (my new friend) with whom we visited Rockefeller Center and Atlantic City. I specially liked his toys :)

...I'm tired, and still recovering - so back to my bed. Few of my memories:
