My active lifestyle is leading me to experiment with new sights, sounds and touches. As I'm growing, I've now started to squeal - a shrill cooing if you will - signaling time for hunger, thirst, or playtime needed! Dad gets quite shocked how I suddenly squeal in midst of a wail or my laughter...
Mom's gotten used to my sounds, but now I keep wanting to try new postures (sitting, tummy time, side sleeping etc.), so Mom is getting used to me new demands. This weekend was fun - went to SF all day today with parents (mom went sailing while Dad, nani and I spent QT watching the rollerbladers at the ferry building, strolling by the bay and generally chilling). We also went to Dad's office.

Sleep = something both my mom and me love has been quite a dear friend lately. Not sure if I'm getting tired playing around, but I've been able to get my sleep (and nice dreams) pretty regularly now. Between my occasional bursts of activity and laughter sessions, I've been dozing off - much to the joy of my parents! This past week I've also been meeting some of grandad's friends and dad's friends - think socializing is in the Sanghavi blood! OK....feeling sleepy...later! Continue reading...

...SOCIAL SMILING! :) I've started sporting a social smile...its not my full smile yet, but makes Dad and Mom super happy! I usually sport this when I'm playing with my gym and chilling in my swing...content after my meals. I spoke to Dada and Dadi last night (more like listened to them) as they were checking the new pics, vids on my site. Can't wait to meet the whole family in India soon... Continue reading...

So, I know I've been growing pretty quickly ..and the paparazzi (my dad and mom) have become photo-video freaks! :) Yes, taking my pics, videos and trying to capture that first smile. But, I'm not gonna make it easy for them.. I've added some more pics and videos on this site, which is a result of incessant photography! (Actually, I like the limelight). Also, these past few weeks, Dad's gotten very busy with his new job and work and mom and naani have been taking really good care of me. We've ... Continue reading...

So, I know its been a while since my last entry here - but I've been busy! Since my moni-bday, I've had a few changes in the household. Yes, Mom and Nani have been taking really good care of me...eating, sleeping and changing me (several times a day, often per hour). I went to the doc again for my regular visit and was told I'm doing well - gaining weight and height, so thats good. I've also now started seeing things around me - identifying light, faces, dark objects, and been bobbing my head... Continue reading...

So, I was all confused why parents were excited about yesterday....it was my MONI-BIRTHDAY!!! Yes, monthly birthday. I completed 1 full month in this world...crying, pooing, smirking, and keeping my parents awake. But, I don't think they'll complain ;) The day started off great - new clothes, shower etc. and then went to derasar with Dad and Naani. It was great to go in and do darshan (can be seen here) Then we all went to get my US passport done (yes, another birthday gift) - apparently I'm t... Continue reading...

I don't know what's happening tomorrow, but apparently, parents and Nani are excited. Isn't it just a regular Friday? There's some element of suspense and surprise coupled with joy that's filled the air. I like it. Update tomorrow of what really happened... Continue reading...

So, both Mom and Naani have been consistently giving me a relaxing massage (maalish) and shower. Its pretty good and I enjoy the sound sleep I get after they're done. Its definitely pampering at its best (from what I've been told). Its getting to be regular routine now and I look forward to the warm water from the shower in the tub. Cant wait to grow up and play with toys in the tub and stay in there for hours ;) The maalish with different oils relaxes my muscles and stimulates my sleep patte... Continue reading...

So, today I think I just gave Dad a glimpse of what my first smile would be like...and he was thrilled! I'm starting to enjoy the world I think..slowly but surely as I'm gaining a sense of my different senses ;) I think simple things in life are making me happy - just being swaddled, to being cradled, to watching the lush green lawn outside the house. So, I've been slowly getting nestled in my house (my crib), but often times I'm exposed to the real world by my parents through a visit to my other 'guardian' - my pediatrician. Today, March 19, was the second time I visited her to make sure my growth was normal and on schedule (not sure why it wouldn't), but whateva! The doc examined me, took my temperature, height and weight measurements and said it was all on track (phew!). I gave Mom and Dad that happy look and that 'told you so' look. I'm... Quite a digital kid...

I'm an early-adopter of tech and quite a techie (not coding, programming), but trying new web 2.0 services. I'm actively growing and have my staff updating this site and blog often - I have accepted the TOS for them representing me. I'm also on Facebook, GMail, Y! Mail, YouTube.
Not sure yet what I want to be once I grow up, but have time for that...just focusing on being healthy and playful in these growing years..
